A bit of screen time - with some maths thrown in!

Although it is not a good idea to spend too much time in front of a screen, downloaded games can be a great way of keeping children's attention on learning for a bit longer.
I've been looking for some games that have valuable learning content, and have come up with a few recommendations. (These are all Android, I'm afraid I don't have access to Apple apps)
Unfortunately, because they are all free, there are a lot of adverts in most of them, and most of them have a time limit for play each day before you are locked out (unless you pay, of course!)

My Math Jigsaw Puzzles for kids by Mobilaxy; kids math games. I think this is my favourite! It has a wide range of levels and activities, helps with developing fluency in number facts while completing jigsaw puzzles.

Times tables games KS2 Multiplication by Mobilaxy; kids math games. This one also has a huge range of levels, and has the fun advantage of a two-player mode as well. Definitely a close second!
Other good games for practising number facts are:
Maths challenges by App star studios - nice thing about this one is that it has no time limit, but it's fairly basic.
Maths galaxy by Deedy Duck games - levels chosen by clicking on a planet, fairly basic.
Times tables multiples by Mobilaxy; kids math games - wide range of levels, has a bit more to it, you have to run and catch the numbers before they drop to the ground.
As I come across more, I'll add them. Would love you to get in touch with recommendations, though! Pauline@paulinetyson.co.uk
